Henry Aryan, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon and Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Aryan specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of complex spinal disorders and neurospinal oncology at UCSF Medical Center in the departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopedics. An expert in robotic-guided spine surgery and other minimally invasive surgical techniques, Dr. Aryan has practicing and operating privileges at Saint Agnes Medical Center and Fresno Surgical Hospital.
Dr. Aryan is currently a Neurosurgical Spine Specialist at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, where he performs routine and complex spinal surgeries, including artificial disc replacements, revision spine surgery, and robotic-guided surgeries to treat spine trauma, spinal deformity, and scoliosis. As an expert in neuroscience, Aryan holds several device patents, has written several textbooks and medical abstracts, and has given diverse oral presentations pertaining to spine and brain disorders, cementing his credibility as a highly regarded neurosurgeon whose work in correcting spinal deformities and treating spinal trauma has been groundbreaking.
A California native, Dr. Aryan is board-certified and holds fellowships with the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons (FAANS).
